The service

Santappan helps groups run a Secret Santa gift exchange: creating a room, inviting people, drawing names, and chatting anonymously. It is provided by Xolt Labs.

Your account and rooms

Access is by emailed magic link. You are responsible for the email account you use and for the people you invite. Only invite people who would reasonably expect to take part, and do not enter anyone's details without their consent.

Acceptable use

Be kind. Do not use the chat or notes to harass, threaten or impersonate anyone, share illegal content, or try to learn who someone's Santa is by technical means. Do not attack, scrape or overload the service. We may remove content or suspend rooms that break these rules; reported messages are reviewed.

Payments

Some rooms may require a one-time payment before the draw, priced per block of players and shown before you pay. Payments are processed by Razorpay in INR. Once names are drawn, the service has been delivered, so payments are generally non-refundable, but if something went wrong on our side, contact us and we will make it right.

Gifts

Gifts, budgets and delivery are between the people in the room. We do not buy, ship or guarantee any gift, and we are not responsible for what players give, receive or fail to deliver.

Availability and liability

We work hard to keep Santappan running, but it is provided "as is", without warranties. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes, law and contact
